We engaged CPT to design and build the internal and external fit out for our Restaurant/Cellar Door @ Posh Plonk on Main, Chiltern Victoria. The brief was simple “go as industrial as you like and create private out door spaces that groups of 6-8 guests can enjoy without being on top of other patrons”.
What came back was truly amazing, the Pod design Nick and he’s team put forward totally met the brief. The Pods have proven to be a huge hit with our guests, are the first to be booked and have featured in many a photo shoot due to their one of a kind nature.
With our indoor/outdoor benches and serveries, the brief was similar “go as industrial as you like and create one of a kind functional pieces”.
The X design legs and the I beam concrete filled tops are truly one of a kind and are not only functional, but are all their own work of art.
A stand out is our Cellar Door servery which has a hydraulic draw bridge, which allows us the best use of space.
We cannot recommend CPT highly enough, we were engaged every step of the way and will be recommending and utilising their services in future projects.

CPT Engineering was engaged to fabricate the spray mitigation structure for Hydro Tasmania at the Cethana Power Station. The structure is designed to protect the road from spray when the adjacent dam is spilling. This project produced some interesting challenges for design and fabrication as one side of the structure was attached to an irregular rock face. The process from design drawings to workshop drawings to fabrication and finally to erection went extremely smoothly with everything bolting together nicely. A credit to CPT’s staff.
CPT and Geoff Watson have been a valued partner of Bell Bay Aluminium for over 20 years.
The main area of support has been with the manufacture and repair of the various designs of anode rods in use across the smelter. With 14,000 anode rod assemblies in use, CPT have consistently demonstrated it has the capability to ensure the substantial quality control measures are adhered to at all times, in addition CPT have delivered well researched improvements which have ensured the aluminium smelting process is not compromised due to a limitation with the anode rod.
We have found CPT to be highly innovative and responsive to the changing needs of an aluminium business competing in a global market place. The quality of work and the strong desire to optimise the service or the goods has ensured Geoff and his company continue to feature strongly in our journey to remain competitive. Exact Mining and CPT have been working together for the past four years. During those four years CPT has supplied quality tradesmen who have competently completed both shut down and rostered work at our Whyalla and Cloudbreak sites and also our workshop at Burton. The tradesmen have worked day and night shift rosters, normal day shift rosters and also two week on/ one week off rosters.

CPT Engineering has supported our timber processing and manufacturing facility located within northern Tasmania for the last seven years, as such CPT were involved in the design and construction of the facility, a forty six million dollar project.

Nick (& Team) at CPT were fantastic right from the start.
The advice and assistance that was provided by Nick and the team, in
the very early planning stages, was a big part of the project success.
Being able to work directly with the individuals involved on our
project was a real bonus.
Right from the beginning the staircase was going to be challenging, 9+
metres tall, overall very detailed in design, wrapped in 30 intricately
laser cut panels and with a requirement that it was pre-fabricated off
site with no welding or painting to be done on site. It wasn't only the
staircase that CPT's expertise was utilised for. Our custom made
boardroom table, vertical garden cabinet, the hand fabricated arches
that support the main workstations and the intricately laser cut desk
partitions were all CPT's work. As is the impressive hand fabricated
arched corporate sign and custom designed floodlight covers out the
front of the church.
There isn't a day that goes by where we don't get a "wow" comment on the
stairs and the other elements that CPT put together for us.
The work was delivered on budget and on time, under a great deal of
pressure. A real credit to the Company, Nick and the team.
I would not hesitate to recommend CPT to anyone needing their services.
